For the last two winters, Russia has attacked the infrastructure of Ukraine with rockets and missiles. In particular Russia attacked the main power stations and making them unable to produce electricity. This deprived thousands of ordinary people of warmth, light and heat. While some younger families escaped to the west, many, particularly the old and vulnerable didn't manage to, and suffered badly during the cold Ukrainian winter
Mission
Our aim is to help, in some small way, by taking a long wheelbase transit van full of aid to Ukraine.
We will be delivering to a depot run by "HelpUkraine" in a town called Chelm in Poland, just a few miles from the Ukrainian border. From there, dedicated volunteers will take the aid onwards to Kiev, and finally on to the towns and villages near the front for distribution among those who need it most.
